History of Ehsaas program
Ehsaas Program formerly known as the Benazir income support program was started in 2008 to help the poor people of Pakistan by then Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani on the advice of Asif Ali Zardari. The Program was named after Benazir Bhutto after her assassination in 2007 in Pakistan.
Eligibility for the Program
Age should be above 18 Years.
Widowed or Divorced Women.
Individuals who are disabled and can’t work on their own.
Ineligible for cash payments
Pakistan Army officials are not allowed to enter this program.
People taking pensions are not allowed to enter this program.
People who have a salary of more than 25000.
Family having more than 3 Acres of Land.
If anyone is receiving money from other sources
People who have a Passport
People who have a Bank account other than a Microfinance account.
