Saif mentioned that iPhones included in this offer will undergo device identification, registration, and implementation of the Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS) by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to block handsets in case of installment payment failures.Omar Saif clarified that the primary objective of this policy is to promote responsible financial behavior and ensure the continuous expansion of smartphone access in the country. Telecom companies are prepared to play a crucial role by directly providing smartphones to users through installment projects, particularly benefiting low-income segments, with the added advantage of mobile broadband reaching underserved communities.
