BISP BUNYAD ECCE Program 2023

BISP has introduced the new ‘BUNYAD ECCE Program’ for students up to 5 years old. This initiative is aimed at providing early childhood care and education (ECCE) to young children, emphasizing their foundational development and well-being. This program has been made possible through collaboration with the Punjab government and the Punjab Schools Authority, working together to ensure the success and implementation of the BUNYAD ECCE Program for the benefit of young students.

The BUNYAD ECCE Program is designed to support the comprehensive growth of the child, encompassing their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and moral development. It aims to provide a well-rounded foundation for their overall well-being and future success. This program is set to revolutionize the traditional pre-primary schooling system

What is BUNYAD ECCE ?

ECCE stands for Early Childhood Care and Education. It refers to a comprehensive approach to providing care, education, and support to young children, typically from birth to around eight years of age. ECCE programs are designed to foster the overall development of children during their early, formative years, addressing aspects such as cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and moral development. These programs often include activities and curriculum tailored to the needs and abilities of young children to ensure a strong foundation for their future learning and well-being.

What is included within the scope of ‘Bunyad’?

The School Education Department (SED), Government of Punjab, has some important goals for the Bunyad program as part of the PHCIP:

  1. Upgrading of 3,400 classrooms for young kids in 11 districts of Punjab. SED is going to make them better by doing small repairs and adding colorful pictures on the walls.
  2. Giving out kits with things for young kids to learn and special furniture for 3,400 schools.
  3. Teaching 3,400 head teachers, 13,600 teachers, 3,400 caregivers, and 3,400 School Council members how to teach and manage young kids.
  4. Teaching 1,300 Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) how to lead and make schools better.
  5. Making special reading corners in grade 1, 2, and 3 classes so kids can enjoy reading and move smoothly from early childhood to pre-primary school.
  6. Creating a new system to keep an eye on students and see how they move from pre-primary to primary grades.
  7. Teaching teachers who are already working how to help kids go from early childhood to primary school.

How to Register in BUNYAD ECCE Program.

To enroll your child in the BUNYAD ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) Program, you typically need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit a Government School: Find a Government school in your area that is participating in the BUNYAD ECCE Program.
  2. Inquire About Enrollment: Approach the school administration or office and inquire about enrolling your child in the BUNYAD ECCE Program.
  3. Provide Necessary Documents: You may be asked to provide certain documents, such as your child’s birth certificate, proof of residence, and any other documents required by the school or program.
  4. Complete Registration Forms: Fill out the necessary registration forms provided by the school or program. These forms will typically require information about your child, such as their name, date of birth, and other relevant details.
