BISP New Biometric Verification Policy
BISP has implemented a new policy designed to aid individuals who cannot complete biometric verification procedures at the BISP payment service centers. This initiative is primarily targeted at women who have encountered payment complications stemming from unclear or inadequate thumb impressions, seeking to alleviate their difficulties and ensure smoother access to the program’s benefits.
How to Get BISP Payment Without Biometric Verification
If you encounter challenges in receiving your BISP payment, consider attempting biometric verification at an alternative service center. It’s important to note that you have up to eight attempts for biometric verification. If you continue to experience issues with the verification process, please follow the steps outlined below.
- If you’re still facing problems, consider visiting a NADRA office to update your fingerprint.
- Alternatively, you can seek help from a relative to verify your identity at a BISP payment facility center and then proceed to file a complaint.
- The concerned officer at the center will provide you with a form for failed biometric verification.
- You will be kept informed about the progress of your complaint through a message or call at 8171.
Instructions for Islamabad Punjab Sindh and Balochistan individuals
If you reside in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, or Balochistan, you’ll need to visit an HBL payment center along with a relative who has previously verified your identity. Once the verification process is successfully completed, you will receive your BISP payment.
Instructions for KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir
For individuals residing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the procedure for addressing BISP payment issues is different. After receiving a message from 8171 regarding your payment, you will need to revisit the payment center as instructed in the message. At the payment center, a representative from Bank Alfalah, under the supervision of the Assistant Director , will enter your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) number into the system as part of the verification process.
After your verification by NADRA, you will receive a code from 8171. The second part of this code will be sent to the Assistant Director of BISP. A representative from Bank Alfalah will then enter the complete code into their system. Following this final verification step, your payments will resume without any interruptions.
